Birdwatching Site
Maris wetlands is the sanctuary of thousands of egrets, herons, the migratory tufted ducks and endemic Philippine ducks. The Birdwatching Site has been the venue of the annual Asian Waterbird Census (AWC) for the Maris wetlands since 2013. This is the premier birdwatching site of the province of
Ifugao- one best place to commune with nature in a unique landscape.
It is also an ideal place for sunrise and sunset viewing, picnics and photoshoots.

1,000 Steps
Date of Construction of: February 2009
The 1,000 steps was constructed in February 2009. The area, known as the Municipal Eco Park – 1,000 steps, is Alfonso Lista’s first tourist attraction. The eco park was established vis-à-vis the greening program to increase the watershed on this side of the Magat Dam. It became popular for trekking activity, panoramic viewing and photoshoots. Forest Picnic Area
The picnic area is adjacent the two main ports/ fish landing used by fisherfolks and communities of Sitio Erosion, Brgy. Namnama, and those from Halag area. This has been the picnic ground for locals and visiting friends and relatives who want a closer view of the rear side of the Magat Dam. There are 10 small umbrella sheds and two trade posts / halls which are being utilized for meetings / trainings by groups from ALista and the neighboring towns and provinces.
